This intervantion is sited at the gateway of Ardal and as such was thought not only for the locals but for the tourist who pass through here before starting his hikking.
Being the gateway of Ardal and this building is an important reference in this small town, since many of the inhabitants have some connection and interest. the amendment of these buildings indicated that new functions do not return to be productive but exhibitions and leisure.
The reused buildings were divided in four functions, conference center, sports hall, hotel and therme, being the last one the theme further explored.
The assumptions basis for the work focused on trying to preserver the authority of the building and all its importance and reuse the excesses of hot water produced by the power station.
The thermes emerge as blocks of concrete distributed over space as new sensations we arouse the curiosity in his discovery.
The thermes can be called "factory of the senses," because the travel of the area aims to be as a journey of sensations and as such the different bath were called with names like Spicy, the hole, White rose, Iglo, Black velvet, Rain forest, Silk, 6 senses, not only as a way to define the characteristics of that space.
